We believe in the biblical view of marriage. In the Genesis account, God pronounced “it is not good that man should be alone; I will make a helper compatible to him.” (Genesis 2:18). His solution to the problem was to bring forth the woman. The scripture states, “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” (Gen. 2:24). The bible clearly puts forth a monogamous relationship between one man and one woman. In chapter three of Genesis, the fall of mankind is recorded. Because man knowingly disobeyed God; he (man) allowed sin into the world and it (sin) perverted all of creation (Romans 5:12).
The Word of God is very clear that any sexual relationship apart from marriage is sin. It matters not whether it is heterosexual adultery and fornication, homosexuality (male or female) or any other sexually intimate relationship (Leviticus 20:10-21, I Thessalonians 4:3-4, I Corinthians 6:12-20, Romans 1:24-32).
Our God is a loving God (John 3:16). When we receive the free gift of salvation, we become born-again, Spirit-filled believers (Ephesians 1:13-14). Because of the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ, forgiveness of sin, healing and deliverance are available to all who trust in Him (I John 1:5-10). The precious sacrificial blood of the Lord Jesus Christ redeems us from the curses of sin and death (Hebrews 9:23-28). A life of freedom and liberty in Christ has been made available to all who believe in Him (II Corinthians 5:17). Our sexuality can be expressed freely within the covenant relationship of marriage between one man and one woman and it is sanctified and sanctioned by God (Hebrews 13:4).
